Recommended for

Who it is for

  • ✓Spots on cheeks and beside the nose make your complexion blotchy and dull

  • ✓The line is lifted after lifting but skin tone remains the same
  • ✓You want pigment care that does not disrupt daily life

How it works

How it works

Target layer

Epidermis to upper dermis

Layer illustration

BBL is not a single-wavelength laser but light therapy (a premium platform in the IPL family) that filters the broad light of a flashlamp with smart filters. Melanin pigment and vascular redness absorb the light and settle, and a collagen-synthesis signal switches on in the upper dermis so texture is refined too. It is performed while cooling the epidermis with sapphire cooling.

Renewall way

The Renewall approach

  1. 01

I diagnose what the pigment is first. Depending on whether it is solar lentigo, deep dermal pigment or active melasma, light may suit you or may even darken it

  2. 02

Sequence medicine — BBL goes first on clean, calm skin, and then MOXI and UltraClear are layered on. When BBL is fired at heat-flushed skin, the light reacts to the wrong redness and efficiency falls

  3. 03

If lifting is the structural work, BBL is the finish that brightens the outer wall — it refines tone and texture left after Ultherapy or Thermage, setting energy by barrier sensitivity rather than just filling shot counts

Pairs well with: UltraClear Elite · Triple-Layer Skin · Thermage FLX

FAQ

FAQ

How is BBL different from ordinary IPL?+

Both are light therapies that filter multi-wavelength light, not lasers. BBL is a platform with refined output stability and filter control, but even within the same family accurate diagnosis matters more than the device name. It is why settings must differ from person to person even on the same device.

Does it hurt?+

Thanks to sapphire cooling, most people feel something like a warm rubber band snap and need no anesthesia. Sensitive patients can use numbing cream.

Is it used for melasma?+

Active melasma can darken as a rebound to strong light, so we do not use it forcefully. After diagnosis we first match toning, medication and texture care, and apply it only to pigment where improvement can be expected. We check what pigment you have before treatment and offer alternatives if needed.

What does it look like afterward?+

Redness and tingling usually settle within hours, and pigmented spots darken for a few more days and fall off as fine scabs. Light makeup is possible, but sun protection is essential.

How many sessions do I need?+

It depends on the concern and skin condition. We usually recommend several sessions with intervals, then maintain with regular care, explained at consultation. A Stanford study reported that gene expression in aged skin cells shifted toward a younger pattern after regular BBL treatment, though perceived results vary by person.

Renewall Difference

Four things that set The Renewall apart

We remodel texture instead of stripping the skin — tone, glow and texture are designed layer by layer.

01

The Director, from consultation to treatment

Dr. Yang personally handles your first consultation, facial analysis, design and treatment. The doctor who consults you is the doctor who treats you.

02

Layer-by-layer diagnosis, tailored design

We first find which layer — from the epidermis to the SMAS — is causing the concern, then match equipment and energy to that layer.

03

Personal next-day follow-up

The day after treatment the doctor checks your progress in person and continues to manage your long-term plan.

04

Private one-person room, comfort first

We reduce pain and anxiety first, and treat you in a room for one person only.
